She's Having a Baby

Is it just me or does it seem that pregnancies come in groups?
First one of my best friends shared the fun news.
Then my sis-in-law surprised me.
Then my reader began to overflow with bloggy friends who are expecting.
Plus I can't go anywhere without seeing baby bumps everywhere.

I'm so happy for all of them. I can't wait to meet my new niece/nephew, hold my friend's baby, and see all the baby pictures around the blogospere.

But while I'm enjoying their happiness, I am not feeling one drop of envy. I rather enjoy my nights of sleeping, wearing bras that don't have flaps, and only having to occasionally assist Zoe with wiping. Life is good!

Let it be known, that you definitely will not be hearing about any baby news coming from my box of chocolates, that is for sure. Well you know unless God has some secret plan in store, which involves him doing one of his miracles. In which case, you still probably won't be hearing the news here because I will have been admitted into one of those nice, padded rooms with the white walls!

Now I'm off to enjoy a nice, glass of wine cause you know...I can!

  1. Have two glasses of wine, okay?;)
It does seem like the babymaking business is overflowing, both online and off! Yesterday at my appointment, the waiting room was filled with pregnant women, and my doula said that she's absolutely swamped with clients over the next few months. Something fun was going on 7-9 months ago, apparently!

  2. I thought I was seeing lots of baby bumps because I'm pregnant but that's not the case. There really are a bit more women due to give birth over the next few months. My OB had to deliver 8 babies in a 5 hour span this past weekend!

  3. No baby bump for me. I think that people are expecting that I should be/am pregnant again because I get alot of looks and questions... Or maybe I just need to lose some weight :)

and I read an article once that said there is usually always a surge of births in summer to early fall thanks to all the being indoors of winter.
