A Sense of Normalcy

I came home last night and it was so nice to sleep in my own bed. I don't think I moved all night!! I went to work today to discover that some of my co-teachers had helped me with my end of the year duties. They took my bulletin board down, began my paperwork, and took care of some hospitality issues like delivering our teacher of the year, para of the year, and baby baskets. One of my bestest friends, Karlin, came in and helped cover my shelves and chatted with me for a bit. It was so nice to return to school to find everything continuing as normal. It meant so much to see that so many people had done so many nice things to help me! There are still nice people out there!!

After school, I took some "me" time and got a pedicure. I was so relaxed sitting in the chair having my feet massaged. I think I could have paid for another one right after she finished, it felt so good!! Dave cooked dinner and now I am snuggling up with Dylan while blogging...can it get any better??!!

Tomorrow is the big birthday...I will be entering my 30's and I can't wait. I think I'm going to take a mental health day so I can just relax with my kids. Maybe we will hit the beach for our first trip of the summer. If not though I will be most content to sit home and just blog the day away spend time with the kids. Tomorrow night we are going to a new Hawaiian restaurant which should be fun. I really can't wait for my thirties to begin because really they are just the new "twenties" right??!!

So for today things are settling down and the world is just spinning along!
