Doing the Bullet Thing

I'm not really a huge bullet person.
I usually go for the full sentence, whole paragraph, thing,
but there is a first for everything.

Let's recap.
So far this week I...
  • Froze my butt off in record low temps (it's only supposed to be getting colder)
  • Thought a student died on my watch (no worries, he's still alive)
  • Was told I didn't play well with others...by an adult...TWICE
  • Exercised with hubby even with an upset stomach (that's dedication)
  • Have two days left and 3/4 of my weekly allowance points left to use
  • Had a 13 point snack
  • Received two certificates from the State. One for Merit and one for Excellence. Don't worry cause you know you will be hearing more about this.
  • Went three days without blogging or answering emails
  • Twittered everyday at least twice
  • Started a "Biggest Loser" Challenge at work
  • Enjoyed lots of hugs and kisses from my kids

Still have to...

  • Get through the half day at school tomorrow (trust me, sometimes half days can feel like entire months!)
  • Attend three meetings in the afternoon after my students leave
  • Plan for next weeks lesson so I don't have to bring anything home
  • Finish 20 progress reports
  • Get two kids haircuts
  • Attend my weekly WW meeting to see how much I've lost this week
  • Pack for North Carolina
  • Drive to North Caroline with two kids and one grandma to visit with my bro and sil at their new house for four days. Oh and did I mention that hubby is staying home?
  • Cheer on the Ravens as they kick the Steeler's butts (they are playing the Steeler's right?)
  • Celebrate my sil's birthday
  • Pray that I keep my sanity on a road trip with my kids without my hubby!!
  • Enjoy even more hugs and kisses!

So what have you been up to this week? Any plans for the weekend?

  1. Wow, you are one busy mama! It seems like I keep telling myself, "Just wait until after Christmas, and then things will settle down. Just wait until after this meeting, and then things will settle down. Just wait until..." And those deadlines that I set come and go, but things don't seem to settle down. Oh, well. I guess that's part of the fun of it! Have a great vacation!

  2. Our Jan has been pretty calm and non-eventful...well except for the GS cookies & new range thing. LOL!

Next week starts my stress...our Homeschool co-op starts on Monday. I've already received emails from moms who are too lazy to read...one I just directed to the rules (smack me for being mean!)

  3. That's one heck of a week and it's not over yet. Good luck!

We don't have any special plans right now. I have a feeling the frigid temps will keep us home searching for indoor activities.

  4. I agree...half days are twice as much work. Good luck finishing everything on your list!

  5. I am a huge fan of bullets, but its a bad week to accomplish anything with a sick little man.

meanwhile, I totally took part in my husband's biggest loser work challenge and failed miserably.

    best of luck to you!

  6. What a week! Nothing exciting this weekend - hubby and son will practice for baseball tryouts, I'll be cooking & cleaning, and we'll take bro-in-law out to dinner.

  8. Oh, BTW, on my first week of Biggest Loser at school, my team came in 5th place and 2 of my team mates "yelled" at one of the other girls and I b/c we only lost 1 lb a piece and they lost 7 and8 respectively. We need to "get into this more" I think is what they said. (insert eye rolling here!)
