This morning was weigh in and guess what...I made my 10% goal! That means that I have lost 10% of my body weight so far. In celebration of this exciting milestone, I decided to go shopping for a new outfit since hubby and I are going to an adult function tomorrow night. It was the best shopping trip ever! I got to buy things almost 2 sizes smaller. So I ended up with one pair of pants, 2 shirts, and of course a new pair of shoes. It felt awesome to finally be able to see the fruits of my labor in the new clothes. I was very proud of myself and what I accomplished and just wanted to share the good news with all of you. Thank you all for your encouragement it helps to have such a great support team behind me!
Week 9 / -2.5 / -20.5
Over 5 bags of potatoes have fallen off this body!
we are still in the middle of our state testing. at this point i have to let go and just trust they got SOMETHING from what I taught!! good luck! erinn
Congratulations! What an accomplishement...it seems for every pound I take off I gain two more! (did that make sense?) I need to get focused on accomplishing my goals I set for myself...kudos to you for doing it!
Thanks for all the support. The dieting actually hasn't been too bad and I love watching myself shrink. The shopping was awesome, but I don't want to get into it to much because I am hoping to be even smaller by summer. We are off to Florida in a few weeks though so I think I mayu splurge on a cute sundress and some shorts!! It has been great having new friends to share the good news with! Mel
Erinn, it was great hearing from you. I know you can relate better than anybody to what is happening. The kids are doing a great job and I am pretty happy with what I have seen so far. Writing is their weakness though and that is on Thursday or Friday so we will need an extra dose of prayers then. Good luck with your testing, I'll be praying for you and your class too! Mel
