So the invitations went out and everybody was going to be able to make it!
Now the day has come and I must confess I'm a bit nervous.
I was feeling just fine about the whole thing, but whenever I told anybody that we were having 6 little girls for a sleepover, they would look at me like I was crazy and then wish me luck. I started to wonder, what was I thinking.
But oh well. Too late to turn back now!
So in the truck on the way from school I will have three extra little girls and then when we get home two more will meet us for the fun.
Upon our arrival, our first activity will be creating super cute Valentine picture frames with foam and sparkles. Then it's chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, and green beans for dinner. {I vetoed the idea of steak, mashed potatoes, and corn from the original menu!} For dessert, we're making cupcakes and decorating them with pink icing and lots of heart sprinkles.
Oh and what's a sleepover without a movie and popcorn? Zoe saw a bit of "Aquamarine" at her daycare and has been talking nonstop about how she wants to see it at her house so daddy made her wish come true. Guess what we'll be watching?! There's hot pink nail polish too so I guess I'll be playing the role of manicurist sometime during the evening.
I'm crossing my fingers that I will get at least a little shut eye. If not I guess daddy will be in charge of the waffle with strawberries and whip cream and sausage breakfast! I'm sure by 11am I will be more than ready to pass the precious princesses back to their momma's!
So there's the plan.
Start praying...
or sending the bottles of wine!!
