As a teacher, I absolutely hate short weeks because they seem like they take about two weeks. Of course, the few days after a break are always the worse anyways and just imagine twenty 8 year olds running in to tell you all about their new things. You can imagine the topic of our morning meeting on Wednesday!! I could only take so much though and did limit them to telling the class about only their most favorite thing. Wii was definitely the most common gift considering about half of them got one or at least said they did. I love the admiration in their eyes when they hear that I have a Wii too, I can just hear them saying in their heads "why she is a real person". Anyways it was a long, short week, I hung in there though and somehow made it.
Even more exciting is that I am down 3.5 pounds as of this morning so I am below 145 again which rocks. Of course tomorrow is my official weigh in and tonight is a girls night, which means pinot and chocolate! We are ordering in sushi though and that is the best guilt free dinner ever. I can eat 2 whole rolls which always fills me up for about 8 points, plus the restaurant has a really yummy salad. I am planning on also limiting myself to one glass of wine and a small sliver of chocolate cake too to stay within my points, so wish me luck.
I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend. I have piles of Christmas stuff waiting to be put in the bins that hubby dragged from the attic so I will definitely be packing them up. Of course there is also always the laundry hamper that is overflowing from the week and rooms to be picked up (although my wonderful hubby did do major cleaning today since he was still on vacation), but I can easily do all that in my pajama's so it is okay! Some friends are coming over Sunday to watch football and have dinner so that will be nice too. A big goal of mine though is to get working on my National Boards. I finally feel like I have some ideas of what I am going to do, so now is the time to start typing them up and get moving. It is due the end of March and I keep kicking myself for not doing more before now, but I know it will get done...E.V.E.N.T.U.A.L.L.Y.
So that is what's happening here. What are your plans for the weekend?

Girls night sounds so fun. We have one Saturday and the snacks are already scaring me. I need to share the sushi idea. Maybe I should just host it next time.
