This year Dylan found the tree. It's tall and skinny so perfect for the middle of our great room.
We spent Sunday stringing the colorful lights and adding all the ornaments while we shared the memories of when and why we received them. When we were finished the tree looked perfect!
As I curled up on the couch to watch my Sunday night shows I couldn't help but stare at the beauty of our Christmas tree all lit up.
Have I told you lately how much I absolutely love Christmas?!
I am so jealous of the tree farm thing! Although we do buy ours from a church lot, complete with a fire pit and hot chocolate :)I can't wait...we'll probably get it Thursday!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous; maybe you should hire out your son to pick out trees for other people ;)
Your tree is beautiful! I hate how cameras can't capture how pretty the lights are, but I can imagine the rest of it.
ReplyDeleteWe're artificial tree folks cuz we leave our tree up for so long. Up on Black Friday and not down until Epiphany. And our rabbits would eat a real tree. LOL!
That's a tall tree! How tall is it?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tree! I can't wait to pick out ours this year!!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I need to get mine up. I am glad to know someone else was shopping on Black Friday. I had so much fun comparing prices and running around with my sister-in-law. I really should blog about it but I am having a bloggers block right now. Just can't do it so I am coming to comment on your site and share the bloggy love.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I hope we can get ours up soon.
ReplyDeleteWow! What an amazing, huge tree! I love it. And it's even better because it's real!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty tree. I love to just sit with only the Christmas tree lit. Brings back memories as a child.
