In case you can't tell from my blog, I'm a picture person. However, I'm pretty much a point and shoot picture taker and then it's the basic upload and download to share the pictures. Recently though I have been taking the time to play with my pictures adjusting the color, temperature, brightness, etc. I use Windows Vista and pretty much just play with the features available there. I've been having a blast though. Here are few of the pictures I have "tackled" recently. I've fixed quite a few that I really like, but of course didn't save the before to be able to compare the finished result with you all so these will have to do.
For all you picture pro's out there, any hints? Do you just play to see if you like the black and white or are there "rules" you follow? I'd love to hear any hints you have to make my pictures pop more!

It's so much fun to play around with pics, isn't it? I really like using Picasa (which is a free download from google) and just like to play around with all the different effects.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I am just a boring picture taker. I don't want to take the time to adjust, but I love what you have done!
ReplyDeleteNice job! I really enjoy taking photos and fixing them up a bit. This blogging thing has really encouraged me to document more events in photos. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI have Windows Vista as well, and it's pretty fun to work with!! Love your pics!
ReplyDeleteI have two really cute pics of Ava's legs and boots on her birthday post. Check them out if you get a chance!
I pretty much just "fool around" with photography, but that's not to say that I wouldn't want to make a hobby of it someday.
Have a great week!!
What a fun "tackle"! Cute kiddos too!
ReplyDeletegreat pics.....cute kiddos ;) I take lots of pics too and use Picasa....it's so great! Love the blog!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I don't know much about photo editing, but for some reason, I like the sepia better than black and white.
ReplyDeleteNice job! They look great. I just don't have time to play with pics, so I put them up as they are.
ReplyDeleteHow fun. My favorite way to "play" with pictures is to crop them to how I want the final picture to look.
