Some friends were vacationing at the beach this week so we decided to take the boat out for some fishing. It started off kind of slow with a horseshoe crab and a baby blue crab.
Then things really started to get fun as we caught a few baby sand sharks, a couple flounder, and I caught an itty, bitty, Black Seabass.
It was an absolutely beautiful day with bright, blue skies, a nice breeze, and calm waters. With the Captain and his First Mate leading the way, we experienced a perfect day on the water.
Those sharks are actually cute...did I just say a shark was cute??? One family vacation on a houseboat in the florida keys, we caught a shark. It was terrifying for me but my brother and dad loved it. I still am scared of the ocean every time I get in just because of that trip and the sharks.
ReplyDeleteOh my, where do you live to be able to fish so much? Carter and Craig LOVE to fish....they just have the little lakes in our neighborhood though. Their DREAM is to have a boat someday!! I just showed the kids these pictures, and they were both like..."COOOOOOOL"!!!
