Dave's work actually purchased a group of tickets so many of his co-workers were there too including Zoe's friend Abigail, which kept her busy at least for an inning or two. The stadium is also kid friendly in that it has a carousel and a couple bouncy things to keep them busy. Never mind they cost additional monies...who wouldn't pay an extra $1 or $5 to keep their kids quiet and occupied so they can catch some of the action!
Of course the night was also filled with all the best things...like hot dogs, peanuts, pretzels with mustard, cotton candy, and ice cream sundaes in helmets! Yumm!!
All in all it was a great family night and another summer memory made!
The ballpark!
The kiddie area of the stadium.
Yes, there is a chicken mascot. What would you expect at Perdue Stadium?
Gotta have cotton candy at the stadium!!
Daddy's Girl!
Fireworks after the show. They were awesome!!
The end of another great summer day!!
What awesome photos! We go about once a year and my hubby's been feeling the urge. I can't really wrap my mind around how that will look with a busy toddler!

Great pix Mel. It sounds like it was a picturesque summer day for you all. I'm sooo jealous!
ReplyDeleteI love going to the minor league games -- they're much more fun then major league! We usually head over to Camden to see the Riversharks.
