QR Codes in the classroom

I've always been intrigued by those little square boxes with the funny black messages. I am a sucker for downloading every one I see.

Then last year I went to a training and learned how to make them. I had no idea qrstuff.com existed. I used qr codes a bit last year to help students get to a website using their iPod touch quicker and also included them on my newsletter to guide parents to helpful sites.

This year, my goal was to use them even more so I kicked off the year by making this handy sheet full of qr codes. I included a code with all my contact information, one to email me, my school website, our fb class page, class blog, and school app. During open house I posted them in a couple places. I've left the one in the picture hanging right outside my classroom door for any school visitors to see and hopefully scan to check out the fun we are having in class.

Do you use qr codes in the classroom? I'd love to hear how you use them!
