Because I Really Do Love My Husband

I decided to be a nice wife on Monday (not saying that I'm normally not nice of course) and shovel our driveway since Dave had to go to work and I got to stay home. Next time I get the idea to be nice, please remind me that there is no need because I shoveled the driveway!

Can I just tell you that I will NEVER be moving to Minnesota cause it took me hours to warm up after shoveling in 20 degree weather with a bitter wind?
Oh and one more thing. The activity points that Weight Watchers gives you for shoveling is a joke! Totally not worth it.

  2. that was awefully sweet of you. I usually shovel if DH has gone to work and the snow fell after he left. DH always shovels everything for me, unless it was a really light snow...if it's really light he just leaves it for the sun to melt.
And I usually have something hot when I get back inside to warm up. I'm so allergic to snow.

I still haven't shoveled the back walk. Just hoping it melts soon.

  6. How sweet of you :)

We were lucky we did not get much snow this time and it was super light. I agree with you about the activity points. When there is a lot of snow and it is heavy you do not get enough, snow removal can be a big cardio workout.

  7. I can't wait to see if this good deed pays off on your next weight in!

Plus, if you move somewhere that gets more snow you either a) hire someone or b) buy a snow blower. That same snowstorm dumped over a foot at our place and I loved listening to the purrr of that machine as Honey cleaned our driveway for the I've-lost-track-its-been-too-often time this winter.
