I'm It!

girlymama tagged me for a meme and well I just couldn't let her down even if it was ages ago and I am sure she has forgotten by now. So without further ado...


Favorite person (outside family)? This is an entirely loaded question so I'm gonna pretend that it isn't here and move on. You all know I love you anyway!!!


Favorite food? Steamed Crabs with lots of Old Bay.


Quirks about you? I sleep in hubby's shirts, I laugh when I'm nervous, I get grumpy when my routine is ruined...there are way to many for me to list!

How would the person who loves you most describe you in ten words or less? Asking them would probably be the best way to know, but I would think some key words that may come out would be "organized", "stubborn", "must be in control", and I would hope "fun", "nice", "a good wife, mom, and friend" would come up too.


Any regrets in life? Hmmm...not really. Probably paying more attention to my dad and his budgets so I wouldn't owe so much money now!!


Favorite Charity/Cause? I'm all for raising money for our schools and am a sucker for any of those donate $1 charities, but couldn't really name just one.


Favorite Blog recently? We are THAT family

Something you can’t get enough of? Being around my family and friends.


Worst job you’ve ever had? Probably working at a jeans retail store cause people are just mean and folding jeans all day got old really quick.


What job would you pay NOT to have? Anything outside because I do not like extreme hot or cold weather and prefer to be inside where I can pretty much regulate the temp throughout the entire year.


If you could be a fly on the wall, where? My kids school. I'd love to see how they act when I'm not around!


Favorite Bible verse right now? Jeremiah 29:11-12"...For I know the plans I have for you," declares the lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you."

Guilty Pleasure? Pedicures, new clothes, and girls night out.

Got any confessions? Hmmm...nope, not that I'm gonna confess to the world anyways!

If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it? Clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry...yep that's about it!!


Favorite thing about your house? It is a mile in from the beach!


Least favorite thing about your house? It is 45 minutes away from my job and the kids schools!


One thing you are bad at? Artistic things.

One thing you’re good at? Multi-tasking.


If you could change something about your circumstances, what? I would have more money saved for the kids college fund.


Who would you like to meet someday? hands down...Jesus!

What makes you feel sexy? New clothes in my smaller size with cute shoes.


Who is your real life hero? My husband. I swear he can fix anything!

What is the hardest part of your job? Staying one step ahead of my students and remembering that I have no idea all they are dealing with outside of school.


When are you most relaxed? At night after the kids have gone to bed, the house is dark, and all is calm!


What stresses you out? Plans that go awry.


What can you not live without? Besides my family and friends...My computer and cell phone!

Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists? What article? Um.. I guess kind of. It does feel a little arrogant to think that people actually care about what is going on in my little life.


Why do you blog? Cause I like too!! It also keeps everybody informed about what is happening in our little piece of the world since it is hard to connect with everybody as we are all so busy. I also like to meet new people, hear their thoughts and opinions, and be part of a great community.
