We watched the Bethany Beach parade with Grandma Sally
Dylan helped to make our special 4th of July dessert. Don't they look spectacular?! and they are only 1 point since it was sugar free jello, fat free cool whip, and fresh fruit on top!
Unfortunately, all the local town's fireworks were cancelled due to a tornado watch and high winds so we weren't able to watch them. However, on our way home from attempting to see them, there was a private community shooting some, so we pulled over on the side of the road to watch. Here are the kids sitting on the roof with their feet in our sunroof...you gotta do what you gotta do to see some fireworks on the 4th!
Great pics! Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteOh...would you mind sharing your dessert recipe? They look so pretty, I think I want to make them next year...Thanks!
Looks like y'all had a BLAST for the 4th...so fun! Our fireworks got rained out for us (think they still did them in Bel Air, crazy people!) The kids were disappointed...but we did hit 2 parades, I'll post them soon! :) Love you!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. We avoided the hoopla by driving home from DFW just before dusk, but observed the spirit of the holiday by singing patriotic songs in the car. :)
ReplyDeleteWe live in a city where it is a zoo to watch the fireworks so we just went in the backyard to show our little girl what fireworks are. She was amazed. It was adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope things go well with the decision to sell your house. It's a big one!
